Local roots dating back to 1985.
Autery Weir Bookkeeping & Tax continues the legacy of Peveto Bookkeeping and Tax, the local practice owned by Susan Peveto, with roots in the community dating back to 1985.
For more than 40 years, the practice has helped individuals, families, and small businesses in Orange and Southeast Texas with their bookkeeping and tax needs. We’re proud to carry that history forward.
An Established Practice. A New Chapter.
In December 2025, Josh Autery and Wyatt Weir acquired Peveto Bookkeeping and Tax and began its next chapter as Autery Weir Bookkeeping & Tax. We value the relationships Susan built and the confidence clients placed in her practice. Our responsibility is to continue earning that confidence through careful work, clear communication, and personal attention.
Whether you’ve worked with the practice for decades or are meeting us for the first time, we want you to feel comfortable asking questions and confident about what comes next.
Personal Service, Moving Forward.
We’re building on the practice’s history with updated processes, secure document sharing, and convenient ways to communicate with our team.
Our goal is straightforward: make it easier to stay organized, understand your financial information, and get help when you need it. Technology supports that work, while personal relationships remain at the heart of our service.
Support Throughout the Year.
We provide bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation services for local businesses, individuals, and families. For business owners, we help bring financial tasks into a consistent routine so you can devote more attention to running your business. For individuals and families, we help make tax preparation clearer and more manageable. We begin by understanding your needs, explaining the services we recommend, and agreeing on the scope of work.
We Look Forward to Working With You
Continuing a longstanding relationship or starting a new one begins with a conversation.
Tell us what you need help with, and we’ll discuss the next steps together.
